A crowd with raised hands in front of a lit stage

Not another music platform.

Music Unincorporated is a record shop
that fits on a QR code.

Built for artists, by artists.

The product

What we actually are.

You upload your tracks and set your own prices. We give you a code to print — on a card, a poster, a sticker for the merch table. A fan scans it, pays with whatever is already on their phone, and the files arrive in their inbox to keep. They never download an app or make an account.

That one exchange is the whole product. Everything else here — the releases, the showtime drops, the posters, the payouts, the receipts — hangs off it.

Three things we're here to change.

  • Relationships

The best time to support an artist is while you're standing in front of them.

    For fans
  • Earnings

The people who made the record should be the ones who get paid for it.

    How it works
  • Time

Do what only you can do. We'll help with the rest.

The deal

The whole thing, in plain terms.

What it costs

10%of each sale
Taken from your side before the payout lands. Sell a track for $10 and $9 reaches you. That is the only cut we take.
3.4% + 30¢Stripe's fee, per transaction
Added to the fan's total at checkout, not deducted from your side. It goes to Stripe for moving the money, and it never touches your earnings.
$0to join, upload, or stay
No monthly fee. No listing fee. No charge for the QR code, the artist page, the storage, or the delivery emails.

What it never costs you

Your masters.
You give us a non-exclusive licence to sell what you upload, and nothing more. In the words of the Artist Terms: Music Unincorporated will not have any ownership rights in any elements of your content.
Your exclusivity.
Sell the same record on your own site, at the door, or anywhere else that will have it. Nothing you agree to here asks you to stop.
Your fans.
The sale is between you and them — we are not a party to it. Leave whenever you like; the one thing that outlasts you is the download for someone who already paid, because they keep what they bought.

The same figures, worked through with examples, are in the help centre. The clauses they come from are in the Artist Terms.

Built for artists, by artists.

We're a small team of musicians and builders. The name is the point: you shouldn't need a label, a distributor, or a middleman to run your music like a business. You need a way to get paid by the people standing in front of you — and to keep the connection after the lights come up.
